BATCH START DATES

New students are inducted every 2^nd and 4^th Saturday of the month they join in and they would get support till the CAT and followed by support for other exams and GD PI

The CAT 2011 program for CAT is an intense preparation course focused on training you for the CAT and all other top Management entrance exams- like XAT, SNAP, IIFT, FMS, IRMA etc. The course is personally designed and delivered by Mr.Arun Sharma and Mrs. Meenakshi Upadhyay authors of India's #1 selling books for CAT. They are supported by a team of IIT, IIM alumni and subjectwise CAT experts.

Overview
The course would run on two parallel tracks-

TRACK 1:
Portion Coverage-An intensive 18 week program which covers your basics and sets clearly defined goals and strategies for the student.
The course is divided into the following modules:

Quantitative Aptitude:

• Block 1 (Chapters included: Number Systems + Progressions)
• Block 2 (Chapters included: Averages + Alligations)
• Block 3 (Chapters included: Percentages, Ratio and Proportions, Time and Work, Time Speed and Distance)
• Block 4 (Chapters included: Geometry and Mensuration)
• Block 5 (Chapters included: Functions, Inequalities, Logs and Quadratic Equations)
• Block 6 (Chapters included: Permutations and Combinations, Probability and Set Theory)

Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension:

• Block 1 (Tackling Word Based questions- Analogies, Antonyms, Synonyms etc)
• Block 2 (Tackling Sentence Based questions- Sentence Completions and Sentence Correction.)
• Block 3 (Tackling Paragraph Based Questions- Paragraph Jumbles & Critical Reasoning)
• Block 4 (Tackling Passage Based Questions- Reading Comprehension)

Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning:

• Block 1 (Tackling Mathematics based Traditional Data Interpretation.)
• Block 2 (Tackling Reasoning based Advanced Data Interpretation questions.)
• Block 3 (Tackling Logical Reasoning.)

Batch details for the same are:

TRACK 2:
Extra Programs for greater exposure, fundamental development, increased depth and advanced reactions, short cuts and methods. Most of these programs are run on our online channel.

An Indicative list of the extra programs that would be held would include:

• Maths Development Course - For people weak at Mathematics
• English Development & Usage Course- For People weak at English
• Vocabulary Development Course - Our revolutionary software based vocabulary course which will teach you around 2000+ words.
• Power of Knowledge - A basic grounding in what Management, economics and business is all about.

We reserve the right to introduce more courses as per the requirement of the students from time to time.
The Online Channel is also an excellent place to clarify your doubts with CAT experts in all subjects available from time to time on the channel.

Frequently Asked Questions:

      I.        Who will be taking my classes?

The entire Quants and Data Interpretation portion would be covered by Mr.Arun Sharma himself. Mr. Sharma is an alumnus from the prestigious IIM, Bangalore. He is the author of the national best selling books for CAT published by Tata McGraw Hill. He has the unique distinction of having qualified the CAT a record 11 times in a row- with his latest percentile being 99.99. The English portion would be covered by Ms.Meenakshi Upadhyay who is also a nationally renowned author for Tata McGraw Hill- and an acknowledged expert in English and language training. They are supported by a team of IIT, IIM alumni and subjectwise CAT experts.

     II.        How do I make up classes I have missed or will miss?

Our course has approximately 14 modules. Three parts of the answer:
1. Repeat telecasts: Most classes would be repeated on our online channel- so you can watch them there.

2. Attend as many batches as you want: All students would be allowed to do classes in as many batches as they want to- so even if you have done a session once and want to repeat it to improve your understanding, you can do it as many times as you want.

3. Request for repeat portion coverage: After August, students would be asked to request for reteaching of parts of the course that they still want to do again. Even if 3-5 students want a module to be repeated it would be done once- no questions asked.

    III.        How do I get my doubts cleared?

Two ways-
1. During the class:

             §   Raise your hand icon in the software and get yourself unmuted to talk to the teacher directly.

             §   Ask a question to the teacher by typing it for the teacher.

2. Get onto the online CAT channel and ask a doubt during the doubt clearing window times for the day.

    IV.        What study material will I get?

1.     Printed books- content different than Arun Sharma's books from Tata McGraw Hill and to be used in association with his Tata McGraw Hill books. There would also be printed tests available.

2.     E-materials and tests- delivered on your inbox or available through the website.

3.     Extensive content through our unique test center- accessible through your personal home page.

     V.        How long would the course be lasting?

Till CAT 2011 and beyond.. support for GD- PIs + support for other exams like XAT/FMS/IIFT etc
